About & methodology
What's here
Searchable checklists with parallels, rarity tiers from published hobby odds, team breakdowns, and, where we have them, real sold break-spot prices and net-of-fees card comps.
Rarity tiers
Per case = packs per case ÷ published hobby odds; X = cases per pull. SHORT PRINT 1 < X ≤ 5 · SSP 5 < X ≤ 25 · GRAIL X > 25. When no published odds exist we show odds ? and don't guess.
Fee formulas (net figures)
- Sports cards (eBay): sale − 13.25% − $0.40 − supplies (about $1 raw, about $3 graded; estimate).
- Pokémon / TCG (standard TCG marketplace seller fees): market − 10.75% commission (capped at $75) − 2.5% − $0.30, before shipping and tax.
Break spot prices
Where available, the headline is the median of real sold eBay team spots, with each sale linked to its eBay listing. A pricing model (published-checklist share blended with a chase-value share, fit on sold data) appears only as a secondary check and is labeled MODELED. Sets without sold spot data say so.
Team mapping
Relocated or renamed teams are grouped with today's franchise: e.g. Baltimore Colts → Indianapolis Colts, Washington Redskins / Washington Football Team → Washington Commanders, St. Louis / Chicago / Phoenix Cardinals → Arizona Cardinals, Houston Oilers → Tennessee Titans. Each card keeps its printed team in a note. College-uniform cards in NFL sets go to the player's NFL team when the same set shows him with one; otherwise they're listed under College. Defunct clubs (Chicago Maroons, Canton Bulldogs) and cards with no team go to Other/Historical and are left out of team lists and break math.
Sources
Every set page lists its sources with links and fetch dates. The main sources are manufacturer odds sheets and checklists, the Cardsmiths Breaks checklists, TCGdex card data (MIT license), SportsCardsPro / PriceCharting price data (cited and linked per their terms: SportsCardsPro, PriceCharting), and public eBay sold listings (linked individually).
